Agriculture with
Insects and the future

Our products
Sustainable, efficient and future-oriented:
Our products integrate insects into the agricultural cycle as a natural source of protein
and create added value for the environment and the economy.
Regional circular economy
Once farmers have opted for our modular fattening system, the following cycle is set in motion:
Fattening plant
We deliver the system and put it into operation. This means we train our farmers and set up the FarmInsect Cloud. This makes it easy to operate the system from anywhere and nothing can go wrong. Once the system is set up, we adapt the feed and the climate recipe to the local conditions. This is the only way to achieve the best possible result.
Young larvae Abo
Once the system has been set up, farmers are supplied weekly with our young larvae subscription. And then? They harvest the fattened larvae, add feed and young larvae and the larvae grow again. Once a week, each climate chamber is harvested and new young larvae are set up.
Lining
The feed for the young larvae is also produced in line with the circular economy: The larvae grow quickly using residual materials (approved as feed) from our own farm and/or purchased from the region. This is because we help to find the optimum feed mix. In addition to the high-quality protein from larvae, we also produce grub that can be used for our own fields - or sold as high-quality fertilizer after heat treatment.
Fattened larvae
Farmers are now spoiled for choice: they can either feed the fattened larvae to their own animals or sell them back to us. If they go to us, we find regional buyers, e.g. in the feed and pet food sector. And that's how easy it is to close the cycle again.
Marketing to FarmInsect
FarmInsect buys back the insects produced directly from the farmers. These are processed and marketed to the animal feed and agricultural industries as a sustainable source of protein - a simple and resource-saving solution.

Without our many partners from science and industry, we would not be where we are today. And the EU has also contributed to our success to date through funding. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their trust and excellent cooperation!
